Wile E. Coyote 'Fore! 3, 2, 1' Framed Sericel

Wile E. Coyote 'Fore! 3, 2, 1' Framed Sericel

Chuck Jones created Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote in 1949 in Fast and Furry-ous. Now he depicts them in one of today's most popular pastimes: Golf! Wile E. Coyote courts disaster once again due to his reliance on the ACME Company, which has supplied him with "Exploding Golf Ball Grenades." The image for this serigraph cel was carefully transferred from an original drawing. The serigraphers created fourteen separate screens, one for each individual color, from which the edition was printed onto acetate sheets. By using this meticulous serigraph process the handcrafted quality of an original cel was achieved. This limited edition is comprised of 2,001 serigraph cels and the silk-screens used to create the edition were destroyed when the edition was completed. Each of these serigraph cels bears the distinctive and unique holographic seal of Linda Jones Enterprises, Inc. Artwork measures 11 inches by 14 inches and the framed artwork measures approximately 19 inches by 23 inches. The piece is double matted (top mat white, bottom mat pale blue) with black molding and plexi-glass.

Looney Tunes 'Masters of Animation' Cel by Clampett

Looney Tunes 'Masters of Animation' Cel by Clampett

This very special limited-edition framed animation cel represents the first time that Warner Bros.' own Masters of Animation can be seen grouped together, surrounded by seventeen of the characters that they made famous. The masters represented are: directors Tex Avery, Bob Clampett, Friz Freleng, Chuck Jones and Bob McKimson. Also included are voice artist Mel Blanc, and Carl Stalling, whose musical direction was instrumental in the making of the Looney Tunes/Merrie Melodies cartoons. The art was originally conceptualized and designed by Ruth Clampett, Director of Creative design for Warner Bros. Worldwide Retail, as a mural for the Flagship Studio Store in Manhattan. The image began with a painstakingly rendered background, assembling images of these historical figures as they appeared in the "Golden Age" of Warner Bros. Animation. This hand-rendered background was then reproduced on a beautiful, uncoated, archival paper stock, using the lithography process. Each cel was expertly hand-painted and the limited edition number was hand inked in an edition size of 500.
